Lipstick!! I LOVE me a good red lip! You can always catch me with a long eyeliner and red lips. Lately, I have been rocking out the Lola Von Rose liquid lipstick in Red Roses and loving it!

Lola Von Rose is a small women owned company located in Florida!! I was surprised to see the mailing address it came from!!! Right from my own backyard! Their products are vegan, cruelty free, and made in the USA, which makes it a great sustainable product. So when I use this product I know I'm helping the local economy and not harming the planet/animals.
What I love about the Lola Von Rose brand is the "vintage inspired" look. The packaging on their lipsticks is a gold metallic tube with a heart shaped cut out. I also love that they fit in my vintage lipstick holders!
BTW this company also makes vintage inspired purses and I use their purse as my daily bag and I LOVE it!
Formula & Finish
When you open up the lipstick, I must say it feels creamy and smooth. The lipstick has a wand that makes it easy and neat to apply. I love this wand. Its the perfect mix of nap hairs. Other wands I have used in the past have bristles that are too long or feel like a brush.
The Red Roses lipstick I tested is a rich, warm red that can truly match with anything!
The brand claims to be matte but I would say its more of a semi matte finish - which I prefer. Its more of an accurate vintage look. Vintage lipsticks had more of that semi gloss finish look and I truly think it makes everyone look more vibrant.
The formula is not sticky and it didn't dry out my lips. After the lipstick settled on to my lips, it still felt hydrated and the color stayed in place for a full day of activities!
Whats the Low Down
So I did a day long test run, meaning I applied the Lola Von Rose Red Roses lipstick in the morning and didn't reapply all day!
I applied the lipstick at 11:30AM and washed it off at 10:30PM and I must say it passed the test! My lips didn't dry out, the color stayed and faded evenly. Like any other lipstick - greasy foods is a NO NO.
I would recommend everyone to give a try! They have various other shades and ship internationally. The lipsticks are $16.00 and I must say are worth every penny!
